Strengths: bulletproof; no spokehole flats; waterproofWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: This review is for Continental "Easy Tape High Pressure Rim Strip," for road bikes (16 mm). These strips are the bomb! The rim strip is one of the most under-appreciated parts on a bike. Took me a few years to understand how many flats can be attributed to cheap/deteriorated rim strips. I know that the Velox strip is legendary (and for good reason)--but these are just better. They are rated to 200lbs psi; thin; light; and bulletproof. And, unlike the Velox, they will not absorb/hold water when you ride in the rain. Little tricky to install (though easeier than Velox)--be careful to line the valve hole up precisely before snapping these babies on. Then forget about them for the life of the wheel! (But don't forget to take them off before you trash the wheel--you'll want to transfer them to the new wheelset!).
