Atala w/6600 Ultegra
Kuota Kharma w/6600 Ultegra Summary: I was skeptical having used the cloth tape for 15+ years. It never failed. The shop didn't have the cloth stuff but said I'd like this one. I bought it.
Apply with a valve stem on the opposite side to keep the opening positioned correctly. Stretch it on and let it rubber band's itself into position. Strengths: No problems in my time using it. Easy to remove if need be. Weaknesses: It frays if you have tacky adhesive left over from the competitors cloth strip. Similar Products Used: Cloth type

Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheelset
Vittoria Rubino Pro tires
Specialized lightweight tubes (I've forgotten what they call 'em) Summary: These strips are TIGHT and secure.
I've been using them with Vittoria Rubino Pro's at +-135psi and I don't have to think about them. Strengths: Funky red
Tight and secure
Wide enough to not shift Similar Products Used: Standard rim tape
The REALLY bad rim strips that came on Shimano R500 wheels. Ya know, the narrow ones that would shift, expose spoke nipple cutouts, and flat you on nearly every bloody ride!!!
