Strengths: Strong! Retail cost is reasonable. Nice product construction and performance.Weaknesses: Not as strong as Deep-V's at a slightly higher cost, but a lot lighter.Bottom Line: I have been using these rims (32 hole) laced 3x to some surly hubs with DT 14/15 spokes and I am very impressed with their strength. While carrying a bag and panniers full of textbooks, I have run straight trough some mean potholes, bumps and even a few tree roots with zero rim damage. No truing so far at about 500 miles, and the wheels are less than a sixteenth of an inch out of true (more than likely, this is just relieved stress from the initial build). Of course, I am a lightweight and, along with the books I always carry, I tip the scales at around 160lbs.
Favorite Ride: Long and vicious.
Similar Products Used: Mavic Open Pro
Bike Setup: Old steel bike (singlespeed road bike) set up with a rear rack for panniers. 28c tires.
