Favorite Ride:
Santa Fe Century

Bike Setup:
1999 Trek 2000 WSD. Upgrades: Profile Design Road Stiffy stem, Profile Design BRC carbon fork, Cane Creek S2 headset, Cinelli Eubios handlebars

Summary:
These are decent tires. Rode them for about 18 months and never once flatted. The tires fared well, even on gravel-cluttered road shoulders and the occasional dirt/gravel surface. Great cornering, even on wet pavement. I would highly recommend these tires, in spite of their price. I'd rather pay a little more for a tire that lasts and that gives me a safe ride in all conditions.

Strengths:
Light weight, great cornering, decent wear.

Weaknesses:
A bit pricey.

Price Paid:  $45.00 at local shop

Bike Setup:
Kestrel KM40

Summary:
Much prefer this tire to the GP3000 for durability and wear. I train on these year round and have always been happy with them.

Strengths:
My tire of choice..durable tread, good pressure rating, little to no sidewall flex.

Weaknesses:
Not the best rain tire out there.

Bike Setup:
For triathlete training or racing tire.

Summary:
If you like a very well constructed tire and don't ride on a lot of rocky or pothole rodes, this is a great tire. Can get expensive if you keep blowing sidewalls.

Strengths:
Great ride in most weather conditions. You can chose between 650x20 or 23. The 20's have 150 psi max. The 23's have 120 psi max.

Weaknesses:
Sidewalls pucture very easily especially the 20's.

Michelin Axial pro's.
