Summary:
The Tempo is a good, very sticky tire for the new, magnificent wooden track at the ADT velodrome near Los Angeles. You cannot use hard compound tires on this super steep track or you WILL crash, believe me. This tire is not cheap and it is not as true as a Tufo sew-up, but is is very widely used at this track. I might use this tire on road time trials on good asphalt surfaces, but it is not a real beefy, tough tire, and remember, it was not really designed to be. Worthy of your consideration.

Strengths:
Rubber compound stickiness for track use.

Weaknesses:
Price, not really what I would consider superb craftsmanship, but it gets the intended job done well.

Similar Products Used:
Tufo Pro S3 (straightest sew-up you will ever see)

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere

Summary:
Great tyre, especially for the track. Light, fast, good choice of colors. Can pump to recommended max of 170psi. Reasonably good tire life, you could expect to go through one on the rear per track season (say 4-5 months), I guess this depends on how much you ride. To be honest I probably wouldn't use on the road, as this is a track specific tire. Maybe on smooth road, rough road I'd use Conti's Competition. I've never had a puncture on my Tempo's only used for track though.

Strengths:
Performance Tire, real fast.

Weaknesses:
Price, steepish but worth it.

Similar Products Used:
Conti's Sprinter (Tempo is much better) Sprinter is a good tire for the road also I reckon
