at Cambriabike Bike Setup: Cannondale for the Commute Summary: The bead on my tire wore out after 2 months. When I pumped it up 80LBs a large crack emerged as well as a big fat blister from the spent bead. These tires are no good! Strengths: Light weight and CHEAP Weaknesses: Cheaply built and faulty production Similar Products Used: Specialized, Panaracer, Hutchinson

at online Favorite Ride: county roads around MN lakes! Bike Setup: Felt CA-1, DA equipped, Easton wheels. Summary: I put these on my Felt road bike in the Spring, I liked the red color as it matched the frame and I a big fan of Conti's. Road with them all year, 350 miles of Iowa roads during RAGBRAI, not one flat (knock on woord). I probably have 7-800 miles on them and looks like normal wear to me!. Strengths: responsive, low rolling resistance. Weaknesses: a bit pricey but not too bad Similar Products Used: Conti attack/force on tri bike

Dura Ace & FSA Compact crank
Mavic Ksyruim Elite Wheels Summary: These came on the bike and are a major disapointment. Constant flats and worn out with very low miles. I had to switch to heavy thorn proof tubes just to keep air in them. Strengths: Nice ride until they start to wear. Weaknesses: Does not wear well, poor performance and not resistant to punctures. Similar Products Used: Bontrager Race Lites, Verdestein Tricomp

at Performance Bike Favorite Ride: San Diego Coronado Bike Trails Bike Setup: Masi Road Bike - 54 cm Summary: Have had these one for 2 months... 7 flats! The Continental Gatorskins I had all last year had 4 flats ALL YEAR. These just don't seem to protect against anything. Had one flat, took out a long thorn, checked for others, put on new tube...3.5 miles later another flat. Found a piece of glass hidden in the rubber (part of the protective strip too), couldn't feel it just saw discoloration in the tire. When I push on the tire, the tip of the glass protuded. Had to dig it out. Weaknesses: Don't protect against flats well Similar Products Used: Continental Ultra Gatorskins - good product for me. Will go back to them.
