$0.00 Summary: Good Grip. The problem with it is it shoots rocks and pebbles all over the place. This is good for a racing tire but not fun to clean the chains and cassettes after each ride. Strengths: Good Grip. Good looks Weaknesses: Shoots rocks/pebbles everywhere

at CMS Bicycle Favorite Ride: Dragon's Back Puncak Alam Bike Setup: Scott CR1 pro, Full Ultegra Grouppo, Fizik Arionne Saddle, Mavic Ksyrium And Zipp Zedtech4. Summary: I bought this tire to use it for my training sessions because its cheap. This tire is like magnet to sharp object. I had flat in my 3rd ride and every ride after that. Last week i had 3 flats in a week. What a lousy piece of tire. Conti should have stop producing these kind of tire. Don't ever buy these!. Strengths: Cheap. Easy to mount. Weaknesses: Flats,flats,flats...... Similar Products Used: Conti GP4000, Conti Sprinter Gatorskin, Panaracer Stradius Sport.

at Performance Bike Favorite Ride: Peekamoose Road in the Catskills Bike Setup: 105 Triple with Mavic Open Pro wheels Summary: I upgraded my Trek 1000 to a 105 grouppo and Mavic Open Pro wheels with these tires in 700x25 size. I am a clydesdale and I wanted a durable tire that would handle the weight on a mix of NYC streets and country roads.
From the start they handle well and keep me rolling in cold rain and summer heat. I just finished the NYC Century on them and they took on ruts, curbs, and the debris of city streets after a tropical storm with no issues. In an emergency stop on a downhill street they handled nicely and stayed straight. Even a stout bump from a bike behind me was a non-event.
As I ride in all sorts of conditions, wet handling is a concern. So far I have not had a slip on rainy streets or dewey morning roads. Even metal road plates are no problem.
My only flat in a year of riding happened on a country road up in the Catskills. Changing the tube was easy and the bead reseated perfectly. After 2000 miles I have ordered a new pair for the winter season.
I suspect there is some confusion among the different models of Ultrasport tires. Some are only for use on an indoor trainer and some are unbelted. For a few dollars more you get the protective belt and all the best features. Strengths: Handling, appearance, wear, value Weaknesses: None Similar Products Used: Michelin

at Web Shop Bike Setup: Giant TCR 2, Ultegra drivetrain Summary: In contrast to most, I found these to be a decent value trainer. Put two century rides on them (one in the rain) and training over chip and seal, gravel, etc with no flats. I put approx. 1000 mi. on them before I punctured twice in one ride and then I just threw them away. I did find the wire bead to be pretty tight compared to some others, but just had to work with it for a while. Strengths: Value: $15 for 1000 mile trainer worked for me. Weaknesses: Very stiff bead Similar Products Used: Conti Gatorskin
Michelin Lithion

at included with bike Summary: These tires were put on by the shop at the time I purchased my bike, which was used. They seem to have decent traction and handling, but are more flat prone than anything I have ever had. The final straw was blowing the sidewall on a fairly minor bump. After scouring the reviews, I have ordered a set of Michelin Krylion Carbon tires for this bike. Strengths: Inexpensive, and the handling is decent. Weaknesses: Weak sidewalls, very prone to flats.
