Surly LHT. All stock, no need to upgrade anything. Summary:
A great multi-purpose tire. Great road performance, good cornering and OK for trails. A great touring tire for unkind roads and trails. A good rolling tire.
I've had them on about 2 years with NO flats and I'm in Arizona with sharp rocks and cactus thorns all over the trails here. Strengths:
Sidewalls protected by Duraskin along with a molded in "protection strip". Weaknesses:
None so far. They are heavier than others but gears make up for that Similar Products Used:
First of this type tire used but I've used two other types on this bike early on.
