Price Paid:  $0.00 at Bikeworks Brandon

Bike Setup:
Colnago CLX with Campy Chourus and Campy Zonda wheels.

Summary:
Overall a very nice tire. Value is excellent and the overall is a 4 due to higher puncture rate for me than other tires I have owned.

Strengths:
Excellent grip in both dry and wet conditions. Very nice ride feel (though this is always subjective.) Tires also have a good tread life.

Weaknesses:
I have found the tires to be susceptible to punctures from small wires directly into the tread. (vs the sidewall) While this is true for any tire, it seems to be more so than many of the other tires I have tried. FYI I am about 150lbs (67kgs).

Price Paid:  $40.00 at gearlink

Favorite Ride:
Dry and sunny

Bike Setup:
Baum Custom Steel, Centaur

Summary:
This is an old favourite I have just gone back to after trying various Vittoria's. I was having too many punctures with the CX model. This is a great all round tyre which is reasonable light, good puncture and cut resistance and looks good. What more could you ask.

Strengths:
Easy to Mount
Well priced
Puncture resistance

Weaknesses:
None that I can think of

Similar Products Used:
Vittoria Rubino Pro, CX, KS
Veloflex Black

Price Paid:  $26.00 at Excel Sports

Favorite Ride:
Any

Bike Setup:
Abici Vader w/FSA, Dura-Ace

Summary:
Excellent tire for the money. I would say that it would be hard to beat it for an everyday commuter/training tire. It's easy to mount. Has great traction and road feel. It has pretty good flat/cut protection. I've only had 4 flats in the last 2k miles. Definitely a tire I will buy again.

Strengths:
Reasonably light
cornering traction
road feel
easy to mount
flat protection

Weaknesses:
Relativly unknown

Vittoria

Price Paid:  $27.00 at Excell

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere with good roads &>45deg

Summary:
Rides similar to Vittoria Corsas; almost as supple and cuts less. Easy on/off and no flats in 1200+ miles. Better than slicks on wet roads. Already bought 2nd pr as backups.

Strengths:
Not harsh. Light, tough, good traction, good value.

Weaknesses:
Little known brand, limited availability.

Similar Products Used:
Vitt Corsas, Rubinos, Specialized All-weather, Veloflex Pave(more nimble and soft but costlier and very hard mounting).

Price Paid:  $55.00 at Excel

Bike Setup:
Nice Dean, all Italian.

Summary:
Totally underrated. I train and race on these, and will buy them until Excel stops carrying them.

Strengths:
Soft and supple, great cornering and road feel. Feel like open tubies. CHEAP.

Weaknesses:
A little heavy, tan sidewalls kind of suck.

Similar Products Used:
Pretty much everything.
