Hutchinson takes the 5 top places at the 2003 Het Volk race, the first of the Belgium Classics! The Belgium team Quick-Step dominated the race, with Johann Musseuw winning over second place postal rider Max Van Heesswijk. Quick-Step riders Paolo Bettini, Franck Vandenbroucke and Tom Boonen placed 3rd, 4th and 5th, and all were riding Hutchinson Tires

Strengths: rode relatively comfortably
cornered well
easy on/off
Weaknesses: apparently the sidewalls
Bottom Line:
Pretty disappointed with this tire. After only ~250 miles the rear was already showing considerable tread wear with a number of chunks missing. And then the sidewall ruptured and the tube popped. I used a Gu packet to limp the bike home.Yes, this isn't meant to be a long distance tire, but I really feel the tire should have had more life than that. It had not seen anything other than fairly clean pavement. I'm 210# and was riding these at 120psi. I won't use another of these.
