Strengths:    Capable of maintaining fair amount of pressure, (30 to 60max). I keep them at 55psi and experience smooth excellent road traction cornering in wet or dry conditons.

Weaknesses:    Picks up/catches small stones, glass chips, metal debris, and if not watching, dog manure between the tread. Slippery on wet railroad tracks and manhole covers, (but thats the way it is with all tires).

Bottom Line:
I run with tube liner bands which really reduce down time repairing punctures. Have owned a pair for two years now, as an everyday ride even during the winter months as well. Once the tits wore off I rotated them, (front to back), once. Still a good amount of tread left to where the small stones and glass chips still get caught between the tread pattern. But nothing my Gerber pliers pick and/or scub brush can't dislodge.

Arrived late in the evening and decided to go out and see what goes on in a small tourist t ... Read More »
