Bike Setup: Richard Sachs/Dura Ace 9SP, Masi Nuova Strada/Campy 8sp, DBR Ti/Ultegra 9SP.
Summary: These are highly durable and flat resistant tires. I have abused them for thousands of miles over flat and gravel (pave) and never had a flat. Contis (sport, ultras, 2000, 3000) however, due to the ultra thin sidewall have left me stranded many times.
Strengths: Good handling over wet and pave roads, puncture resistant.
Weaknesses: Hard to find since M discontinued them.

Summary: I use these on my winter bike and I must admit I'm pretty disappointed. Although they are wearing well, I've flatted twice in the first 1000 km. Freezing my butt off in the middle of nowhere chaning the flat both times. In contrast, the GP 3000s on the summer bike, although they wear fairly quickly (5000 km, 145 lbs.), I haven't flatted on them in the last 15,000 km, even though I ride them until they're square, the sidewalls are fuzzy and the rolling surface is cut-up and cracked. The handling is fine.
Strengths: Cheap.
Weaknesses: Flat a lot. Otherwise could be the perfect winter tire.

Summary: On my last set of these (Michelin has discontinued them) I got 5000 miles on the rear without a flat...the front has 7000 miles on it, also without a flat...that's right...that's miles not kilometers of solid urban commuting in Seattle
These tires never slipped in the wet..even on glazed ice one day when I saw every other rider crash...I rode it out...
I hope Michelin's new replacement tire has as good grip..
Strengths: Wet weather grip...
Wears good too...
Weaknesses: Not the most cut resistant

First Michelin I have owned and havent had to change it in over 4000km (front only) - which was a little annoying because i wanted to mix it up a bit to find a good comfortable tyre, seems I got lucky first time. Only one moment during a decent after rain on a sharp right hander lost the front and became a wall hanging - on second thought the tyre was 4000km old and realistically, I was going too fast. But don't we all do that.
Strengths: Super durable, great in dry and wet, up there for comfort and easy on the wallet (for a folding tyre) and most importantly very few puntures (2 in 4000km on the front)
Weaknesses: Even though they may look great after 4000km, i suggest replacing it. Better to be safe than sorry - I think maybe the rubber deteriorates after time, thus the tread remains but the grip doesn't. After that many km its hardly a weakness.
Only other complaint is they can be super hard to get on the rim especially out on the road when you need a quick change to get back on the bunch.
