Price Paid:  $16.00 at LBS

Favorite Ride:
downhill,downwind

Bike Setup:
The Three C's - Colnago, Campagnolo Cinelli - Colnago Mexico 1985 approx, Super Record group, Cinelli bars and stem, Flite Saddle, an oldie but a goodie.

Summary:
Its a shame these tires are discontinued, I have used these for the years and just wore out my last set. I bought my last set at a big discount because black rubber was not fashionable anymore and I stayed with this pair as long as I could. Now I'm trying some Conti 3000's, not sure I like what I just read about sidewall blowouts.

Strengths:
Good ride, good puncture resistance.

Weaknesses:
can't buy them anymore

Similar Products Used:
Contis, other Michelins, Vittorias, some cheap chinese junk

Price Paid:  $15.00 at Cape Town

Bike Setup:
Rossin with Suntour Equip and Mavic/DuraAce Rims

Summary:
Great tyres and I am loking foward to my next two. The side walls are now finished from age and a cut has allowed the tube to poke through.

Strengths:
Had them on the road machine for some 8 years (better believe it - 4 years with little riding in the middle) and me being 230lbs (heavy) these babies have served me well

Weaknesses:
nil

Price Paid:  $15.00 at performance

Bike Setup:
Custom frame made by me. Columbus Foco tubing, 3.4 lb frame, straight blade columbus fork, 1.4 lb, both painted by my buds at Co-Motion. Full DA 9sp, 28 hole open SUP. Nice riding bike, looks pretty too.

Summary:
Great tires, great price.

Strengths:
I have been commuting in San Francisco on these tires for a couple of months and have had no flats. The ride is nice, and they seem to corner well. I have also taken them on some long road rides and have no complaints. They mounted easily, and run true.

Weaknesses:
I don't know where to buy them now.

Reynolds 853 frame, Ultegra Double Gruppo,

Summary:
I like this tire, but after only about 500 miles a big chunk of rubber came off, rendering the tire useless. I've never seen anything like it. Too bad...

Strengths:
Good handling on pavement, light weight,

Weaknesses:
Durability, discontinued, not too great on a intercoastal steel bridge...
