Price Paid:  $0.00 at Came with used bike

Favorite Ride:
Any non-hammerfest

Bike Setup:
2003 LeMond Zurich

Summary:
These 700x23 tires probably had 1000-2000 miles on them when I bought the bike. I've added only about 500 miles without rotating them, and they quickly wore through to the cord on the rear tire. There are plenty of nicks and cuts elsewhere in the rubber, but I have not had any punctures riding through plenty of New England frost heaves and pot holes. I decided to replace them with a set of Michelin Hi-Lite Prestige instead.

Strengths:
Good cornerning ability, light. Fairly compliant ride for a "race" tire. Red matches my bike well.

Weaknesses:
Treadwear doesn't seem that great. Pricy when purchased new.

Similar Products Used:
Michelin Hi-Lite Synergic, Continental

Bike Setup:
2004 Specialized Allez Comp
Full Ultegra
MAvic Ksyrium Wheels

Summary:
All season long last year I did not have one flat tire on the Specialized Pro tires that came with my bike. After a season on the road and a winter on the trainer my bike shop recommeded these tires as replacements. However in about a month and a half, I have had three flats and two cut tires. I replaced on tire. Rather than replacing the second cut tire, I am replacing them with Hutchesons Carbon Comp that were on sale 2 for the price of one Michelin. Also I did not like the ride of the Michelins. They seem to have a soft sidewall (same as I found on their car tires) so the bike seemed to wobble a bit, especially in any kind of side wind. They just did not track very well. Also seemed to have more rolling resistance than the Specialied (maybe due to lower pressure rating). Not worth the money.

Strengths:
Matched the color of my bike.

Weaknesses:
too soft a ride. Low pressure (only 110 psi - I like 125 psi)

Fuji steel frame with mavic open pros and dt revoultion spokes.

Summary:
Great tires. No problems. A bit pricey but will probably last me for 5 years at the rate they seem to be wearing.

Strengths:
Looks good, good damping capability but they seem noticably heavier than my old conti 20mm's (duh).
