Bike Setup: Scott Addict R1 Full Campy Record, other good stuff.
Summary: Not thrilled with these. These came on my addict R1, and matched the bike nicely.. from a looks standpoint. But, I've gotten a lot of cuts on the tire in a short amount of time. Never had this happen with my vittoria's with a lot more miles. The front is holding up better than the rear for what ever reason. I am running a slightly higher PSI in the rear, so maybe that's why?? Anyway, not sure I'll repalce these with the same tire. (FYI: I'm 185 lbs)
Strengths: Seems pretty good on the rolling resistance. Handles well on the dry, and at high speed.
Weaknesses: Seems to cut easily compared to my other tires on my old CR1

Summary: I had a pair of Krylion Carbons that did 3,000 Kms with only one flat. Otherwise, they were great. I replaced the back tire and got less than 500 Kms and had three flats and the tire looks cut and worn already.
The only difference I could see, was the new tire was made in Thailand, the old one was made in France. I put the old one back on and threw the "new" one away.
Quality seems to have gone through the floor. I'll swap back to a pair of good ol' Conti GP4000s's.
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: Expensive and poor quality. Flat too easily.

Summary: I thought I was the only one (Re: 2009 version)!
Like David Bobzien said below, these tires are junk now, and I will not buy another pair until these issues are fixed.
Previously I would never consider putting another tire on my bike. On my last paid I rode two seasons averaging 200 miles a week and I had perhaps half-a-dozen flats. I talked these tires up as the greatest thing since sliced bread to anyone that would listen. No more.
I checked four shops in town last year and couldn't find the Krylions in stock. Checked online and was backordered at two places, with them ultimately cancelling the order. I read here (RoadBikeReview) or somewhere else that Micheline was moving their production to Asia, which apparently caused the product shortage.
I installed this last week on my back wheel (still have the older French-made version on the front). Four flats over a span of eight rides. I'm not a big guy either - 165 lbs. I'm usually the last person to have issues with flats.
This tire is now worthless, in my opinion. Now I have to go back to the Conti Grand Prix I suppose.
I really loved this tire, but no more. Fix this Michelin!!!!
Strengths: Same look as the old version
Weaknesses: - Puncture Prone
- Flats!

Summary: I have had both Krylion Carbons and old Carbons which performed just about the same so this review goes for the both.
Well, like many here I must say Carbons are my favorite tires, but also like some said traction on cold is a problem.
No other tire gave me so little flats and so many miles. Also I like the feeling they give me...they might be little on the harsh side, but that's what I like.
The only problem I encountered is traction in cold weather...I had a nasty crash on a cold, wet and slippery descent, slight touch on the front brake and I was down. I'm not sure would other tire save me there, but I can read similar things in other reviews so I wonder. Anyway, it won't influence my rating because every other aspect of this tire is exceptional. All I have to do is to be more careful in wet and cold and Carbons will do fine.
