    Favorite Ride:
Medina Ohio, Cull Canyon Bay area

    Bike Setup:
Serotta Fierte, shimano Ultgra (10-speed cranks and derailers, 9-speed cogs and levers), Fulcrum wheels.

    Summary:
Went through four tires fairly fast (700 miles max). Sidewall cuts and tears. Horrible durability. I used ProRace and ProRace2 tires previously and they were reliable and good. This tire is too defective. Lifelong Michelin buyer (35+ years) and now go with other brands.

    Strengths:
Gripping power on smooth as glass surface.

    Weaknesses:
Cuts, sidewall tears. Horrible service life. Tires lasted between 200 miles and 700 miles. An acron can puncture these tires. Potholes shred the sides easily.

    Similar Products Used:
    ProRace and ProRace2, Gator skins.

    Bike Setup:
'09 Specialized Tarmac Pro SL, Dura-Ace everything except S-Works Carbon Cranks

    Summary:
It's funny to read all these reviews. Anyone that is going to use this tire for what it was designed for will love it. IT IS A RACE TIRE!!! How many races are out there that are 1000, 2000 or 3000 miles that you have to use the same tire the HOLE way? If you are a SERIOUS racer you would change your tires after every race. Cat B, maybe every other race. My point here is if your want to put 3000 mile on a tire then get something like the Specialized Armadillo or something like that. If you want a tire that is designed to race, then get the Pro 3.

    Strengths:
    FAST Moto GP design SWEET!!!

    Weaknesses:
    Lower price would be nice

    Bike Setup:
    Standard 56cm bike.

    Summary:
I'm a recreational rider who rides about 2500 miles a year, I have been riding the various Michelin slick tires for as long as I can remember. I ride in NY state where the roads are less than perfect. I will NEVER BUY THIS TIRE AGAIN.

    Strengths:
This is a great riding tire, light, fast, grippy and supple. Everything good that you have heard.

    Weaknesses:
DURABILITY... this tire has none, especially cut resistance on the sidewalls. This is a low mileage tire, I get about 1500 miles on a pair. The set currently on my bike has a total of 4 sidewall cuts, completely through the tire, which I have repaired with duct tape and a small piece of milk carton plastic taped to the inside of the tire. I will be very happy to replace these tires.

    Similar Products Used:
All of the Michelin slicks. I greatly prefer the Pro Race 2 as I believe it was much more durable tire.

    Favorite Ride:

    Bike Setup:
    R700 Cannondale (2005 model)

    Summary:
LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. These tires are fast and smoothe. I was able to climb my favorite hill in a 39-15 gearing with this PRO 3 tire. My best effort before was 39-19 gearing. This tire is smoothe over bumps.

    Strengths:
Light and smoothe. Fast. Perfect climbing tire. Grips road very well. No energy wasted.

    Weaknesses:
    None yet.
