Strengths:    They do exactly as they claim, give you Super grip in the rain. Dense rubber seems to resist cuts more then regular Pro 3 tires. Don't have enough miles on them to say for sure but I think they will wear about the same as regular Pro 3 tires.

Weaknesses:    Sucks up everything off the road when dry.
Feel like they have high rolling resistance on dry roads but don't have any way to prove it. On wet roads they feel like a whole different tire and roll quite well.
Way too narrow for supposed 23mm tire.

    Bottom Line:
Super Grip rubber is different then anything I have ever experienced. They are most happy when they have at least some moisture on the road. It certainly has grip, so much that when dry everything on the road sticks to it like flypaper. If there is a little sand and gravel then you get a coating on your tire. They need at least a little moisture to lubricate the tires so they are not so sticky.

The Super Grip rubber is dense = heavy so they cheat to keep the weight down and make the tire more narrow then the regular Pro 3. Unlike the regular Michelin Pro tires which are fairly generous on width, even though is says 23mm it is more like 20mm. Too narrow is the main reason I took off one star from being the "Ultimate rain tire" as they claim.

Strengths:    Awesome grip. Like being on rails. Supple. Amply fast enough for the club run and inspire confidence in the corners.

Weaknesses:    Longevity. You'll only get about 3-5k miles out of them (a full winter) and they can cut up quite badly on the tread.

    Bottom Line:
Grip? This has it in abundance. If other tyres feel sketchy as the nights get dark and the roads get greasy then this tyre brings back the confidence you are lacking. Mud, oil, wet leaves, paint lines.. Nothing seems to faze this tyre. I have been riding them on my winter bike as the pro 2 and now the pro 3 for the last few years and haven't found anything to compare. They have been on-road, off road, gravel, dirt, rain, frost. From Lands End to John O Groats.
