Strengths: Have no data to back it up but low rolling resistance; comfy tyre.Weaknesses: There is not much rubber on the front tyre; true size 26.6mm wide and 25mm high.Bottom Line: [Please note: I am talking about the Michelin Pro Optimum; it seems to me the Michelin Pro3 Optimum is being considered the same tyre. There is some confusion about the labeling].
Hi all: Got 5000 km out of the tyres in size 700x25c. Rear tyre first flat after 5000 km on horribly bad scottish roads around Edinburgh.
Good tyres worth the price.
Good comfy tyres in size 25mm. NOTE: real size on my Mavic Ksyrium Equipe rims: 26.mm wide and 25mm high. Check tyre clearance of your bike.
Rating only 4 though due to the front trye. Sorry but 215 gramms at size 26.5mm does not cut the mustard. I would rather like to see 240 gramms in a safe training tyre.
Purchased At: ebay
Similar Products Used: Michelin Krylion 700x25c and 700x23c; Vittoria Open Pave 700x24c; and range of other tyre brands.
Bike Setup: Argon 18 "Radon" frame; Rival group set; Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheels.
