great value, if you can get them as cheap as i did!
Weaknesses: very poor grip in the wet
would not recommend paying full retail for these tyres, there are much grippier, and probably equally quick alternatives.
Bottom Line:
i chose these tyres due to good reviews of other schwalbe products and (of course) great price that i found (£21 for a new pair - private seller - eBay).
yes... they look fantastic
yes... they're quick
no... punctures yet
but... please only use on straight roads in the wet
i put these on my dura-ace rant wheels which (fortunately) i try only to use on dry runs but got caught in a shower yesterday. i felt like tonya harding on the way home (an inadequate skater!)
i run continental gator skins on my open pro wheels and i would say that there's about twice the grip with these in the wet. they may not run so quick in the dry, but they're 1/2 the retail price.
