Summary: I bought a set of these about two years ago at the recommendation of my local bike shop. They matched my black & red Felt F55. I put on about 800 miles with no flats. Then I got a raw finish Cannondale CAAD 9. When it was time for tires, I got matching black'n'gray Serfas Seca RSs. Ihave about 1,500 miles on the tires and, once again, no flats. I love these tires !! I weigh about 220 pounds and ride on rough Pennsylvania roads and, especially, around glass and pot-hole infested Pittsburgh. The flat protection really seems to work.
Strengths: roll easily, mount easily, great puncture resistance and are inexpensive
Weaknesses: I can only find them at one local bike shop
Similar Products Used: Michelins, Vittorias, Continentals, you name it ....

Summary: I have owned two of these tires and I have had the same results with both. Within the first month of riding I get two flats with the tire and I'm ready to give up and replace the tire. But then after those two initial flats I don't get anymore flats and the tires work great until they are worn out at about 1500 miles. Because of the cheap price I will stick with these and expect 2 flats early on, then no problems going forward.
Strengths: Cheap, Pretty Reliable, Good ride
Weaknesses: I always get 2 flats early on

Bike Setup: 2003 Giant OCR 3 with 105 group, and now a 2009 Fuji Rub Pro.
Summary: Simply put, the best tires I have ever used. These were recommended by my local shop. At max four yrs. ago I weighed 310lbs., and needed a tire to haul that weight. These tires did not flinch. Not even at 130psi. I have used four pair of these tires. The first I wore out. The second was a desired color change. The third set had a slice approx. 1/4 the circumference of a dime in the tread center. (Stupidly) Knowing it was there, I rode the tire for approx. 500mi. until Ken at Country Pedalers found it. He could not believe that I had been on the tire that long with NO ISSUES, but being a friend wouldn't let me keep riding them. I replaced it with the fourth pair and have approx. 1200mi. on them. I will never use another tire as long as these are manufactured.
Strengths: The price. 215 grams/130psi. THEY DO NOT FLAT! Great compound holds the road even in a downpour.
Weaknesses: The tires - None. Only your apprehension to buy a non-cool brand name tire.
Similar Products Used: Various Conti, Michelin, and Kenda.

Bike Setup: 2007 Scattante CFR Race; Ultegra/TruVativ; Thomson stem & seat post; SMP Evolution saddle; wh-516 wheel set
Summary: Great tire. Heavy rider here and manage well @ 90/100 psi; The Vredestein Fortezza SE I used I pumped way up. Holds the road real nice; more confidant on turns.
Strengths: Holds the road well; confidant turns; less vibration.
Weaknesses: None so far; only one flat.
Similar Products Used: Vredestein Fortezza SE; stock whatever was on there when I bought the bike

Bike Setup: Litespeed, Dura ace, Mavic SSL, Fizik Arione.
Summary: Great tire so far for me being a 215lb commuter. I wanting the performance of a training / race tire to make my commute fun on the down hills and corners. My LBS recommended these tires. I have used many different manufactures. So far I am very happy with the Seca's tires that Richard at Richards Cyclery recommended. Nothing worse then riding each day with flats stopping you from getting to work on time.
Strengths: Puncture resistance, ride on dry and wet, 130 psi and price.
Weaknesses: None so far
