    Bike Setup:
    Brakeless fixed gear.

    Summary:
If you ride brakeless fixed gear and are constantly skidding, these are the tires for you. I used to go through a tire a month. I have been abusing these tires for over a year now. They are strong have great traction and have sustained the where and tear of daily fixed gear riding.

    Strengths:
Long lasting have not worn skid patches through top layer.

    Weaknesses:
Can't think of any the price is right and I have had less life with comparably priced tires.

    Similar Products Used:
    Michelin speedium, bontrager tires.

    Price Paid:  $40.00 at lbs

    Bike Setup:
    surly pacer 8-speed

    Summary:
I bought one of these tires without doing any research after getting a sidewall failure during long-distance ride (on my front panaracer urban max, which was about 2 years/~5k miles old at that point). Let me tell you, this thing has NO traction in wet weather. I fell twice in 5 days since getting this tire, and actually recovered from a front-wheel skid twice more (a skill I DON'T WANT to have to develop). I'm replacing it with something with more traction, probably a specialized armadillo.

    Strengths:
it may have some, i haven't discovered them

    Weaknesses:
    NO TRACTION in wet conditions.

    Price Paid:  $33.00 at 66

    Favorite Ride:
    Fuji Track

    Bike Setup:
    700cx23 46x15 gearing, 5 skid patches (10 ambipediously)

    Summary:
As if to follow up on my original post, I have had at least one everwear running on my ride and have skidded through several (back in the days of 3 skid patches). I have gotten an everwear for the front February and it has remained until the sidewall on my rear finally went, prompting me to rotate it to the back. You do have to keep the pressure around 140 or the sidewalls will go before you even get a chance to destroy any other part of them.

    Strengths:
    5mm is ALOT of rubber

    Weaknesses:
The sidewalls SUCK. Keep the pressure up around 140

    Price Paid:  $33.00 at 66Fixed, 901 1st Ave

    Favorite Ride:
    2007 Fuji Track

    Bike Setup:
Stock 2007 Fuji Track, 61cm with Kenda Koncept tire in front (soon to be Armidillo Pro), and White Soma Everwear in rear. 48/15 gearing (5-10 skid patches), Profile rear cog.

    Summary:
I recently purchased the Soma Everwear tires on one rainy day (today) and have nothing but good to say about them. Even though I haven't really had a chance to break them in or anything, they skid GREAT. Ironically, they have good rolling traction even in the slick rain they were forced to make their debut in. I like the color variety (I chose white, to compliment the Black/Grey/Gold scheme I am going for), and the fact they are made of 5mm thick long wear tread. My friend skids like crazy with them and the only thing left behind is the smell of burnt rubber!
    Definitely satisfied.

    Strengths:
    5mm thick Long Wear tread,
    Excellent durability, rolling traction
    Plenty of color choices,
    Low price,
    Great on fixies,
    Great for skids,
    Great for messengers

    Weaknesses:
Not reliable for emergency skid stops (get a brake),
    Weight,
Sliding traction* (*Unless seeking a tire for skids)

    Similar Products Used:
Kenda Koncept stock tire (lasted 2 weeks)
