Price Paid:  $23.00 at Bicycle Sport Shop

Summary:
Riding these tires in the rain is almost a guaranteed flat. Pretty ironic for a tire labelled "All Condition". They are not quite as bad as the Conti UltraSport I bought to replace them, but only slightly better. I think I had less than 500 miles on them when I started getting a flat on just about every ride.

Strengths:
I can't think of any

Weaknesses:
Poor flat protection. Overpriced for what they are.

Price Paid:  $40.00 at Brand's Cyclery

Favorite Ride:
Northern Nassau County, NY

Bike Setup:
Trek Madone SL 5.2

Summary:
Tires are the least flat prone I've ever had and last about 1500-2000 miles in the rear and 3000 miles for the front. At the end of their life, though, they start getting flat prone (as one would expect). I weigh 190 lbs., for comparison, and keep them at 125 lbs. They seem harder to find, of late, especially when looking for them on the Net and much more expensive than when I first started riding them 2 years ago ($25 then, about $40 now).

Strengths:
Highly flat resistant (2 flats in the last 3000 miles, both from heavy duty staples barely puncturing the tire).

Weaknesses:
Difficult to find on the Net. Don't handle well at 80lbs. (make sure you fully inflate after a flat)

Price Paid:  $20.00 at Gregg's Cycle

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere the road leads, except in the rain!

Bike Setup:
Specialized Sequoia Comp,05, Ultegra front and DA rear; Kool Stop pads

Summary:
Specialized All Condition Sport tires have worked fine for me. I have over 1500 miles on the original tires, with only general wear on the rear. No cuts or flats with numerous highway and road outings. (I do watch for glass and other debris along the road side, and run them at 118 psi, front and rear.) Excellent traction under both dry and wet conditions and a good feel of the road, ascending and decending hills as well as on the flats.

Strengths:
A very sound set of 700x25 tires. Very economical for the average weight rider (175 pounds), who avoids road debris.

Weaknesses:
Not a "bling-bling" tire, not light weight, not a fancy logo or tread.

Similar Products Used:
Trying Conti GP4000 for comparison

Price Paid:  $20.00 at Spin City

Summary:
Bought these just before a century a couple weeks ago to replace a blown-out Conti. They made it through the 112 miles, but not much further... Flatted 3 times in 2 weeks--front and rear, 3 different tubes.

Weaknesses:
Not very puncture resistant.
