Price Paid:  $49.00 at Black Mountain Bikes

Favorite Ride:
Otay Lakes

Bike Setup:
Trek Madone, SRAM Red Group, Bontrager Wheels

Summary:
I've found these tires to be not all that puncture-proof. My son rides then and he's had 3 flats over the past 6 months. I switched to them after getting too many flats with my stock tires, and got a NASTY flat on my 4th ride. Something on the road cut right through the casing. I'm not impressed.

Strengths:
Reputation only

Weaknesses:
Actual performance as "puncture proof" tire. And the roll like rocks!

Similar Products Used:
Continental Gator Skins (I'm going back to them)

Price Paid:  $40.00 at Center Cycle, Renton

Bike Setup:
2011 Specialized Sectur Comp

Summary:
Purchased these tires after the stock All Conditions Specialized tires kept flatting. I heard the same complaints from other riders who imediately switch over to Armadillos. Since I switched to these tires, not one single flat. In fact, the tires lose very little air between rides. Great tire for commuting

Strengths:
Great tire for commuting where you may have potholes, some broken glass, pebbles, etc.

Weaknesses:
You work harder at climbing hills. A little rolling resistance

Michellen Carbons

Price Paid:  $28.00 at bikes inverness

Summary:
I've had 3,0000 miles out of these tyres and no punctures. Additionally, just got new Cannondale super6 and got two punctures immediately (schwabble). Changed to Armidillo and they seem at least as fast.

Strengths:
Puncture free.

Weaknesses:
Sometimes very difficult to put them on wheel!

Similar Products Used:
Schwabble puncture resistant.

Price Paid:  $49.00

Summary:
I do a lot of riding very late at night and dislike having to attend to a puncture. My local bike shop sells specialized and so I tried these tyres. They have been puncture proof so far and I ride over some rough roads at times

Strengths:
Obviously the puncture resistance.

Weaknesses:
Not the greatest for a smooth ride. Designed really for resistance and not speed or smoothness.
