From paved road to dirt road to no road at all, the Borough CX is a single tread that can do it all-urban/transportation, adventure riding/touring and even cyclo-cross racing-thanks to its smooth running center section and minimal hard-biting shoulder knobs.
Strengths: Much better ability to float over rough terrain. Great flexibility and smooth ride too.
Weaknesses: Not as fast obviously.
Bottom Line:
Using 700x32 tires, lets me travel dirt roads easily, even semi-mountain bike trails. Slick center section permits some road speed and wide lugs give extra traction when roads are steep and muddy.
