This armored version of our classic, fast rolling Nimbus tire has a rounded profile and recessed tread for great traction, designed for speedy commutes and changing conditions city streets - even when they include glass, nails, and other hazards.
Strengths: Virtually flat free. I get about 5K miles out of each one. Can over-inflate to 110psi.
Weaknesses: Heavy-ish. Would be noticeably slower if I only inflated them to the spec 90psi. Pricey.
Bottom Line:

I've been using these tires for 4+ years, commuting 30 miles/day and on weekend recreational rides. No other flats than noted above. Runs over glass, star thistle, cactus spines without a problem.
I've been riding these 100PSI tires for a while. Sometimes I get 5K out of a tire, sometimes 500 miles. Do you know of a high pressure tire with the flat resistance of this tire? I Read More »
