Strengths:    Smooth riding, handle is very predictable, mount easily

Weaknesses:    Cracks all around the bead area and vertical cracks from the bead area to the tread. Dual compound tread is seperating from tire carcass

Bottom Line:
These tires are competely breaking down and cracking everywhere. The bead has cracks all around the mounting area and the dual compound seam area is seperating in several places. Most disturbing is the cracks from the bead to the tread area. I am a low mileage rider and need/expect my tires to last longer than a year...Very poor value when compared to the cost vs. longevity.. Have pictures if anyone wants to see them.. mounted on Stan's Alpha 340 ZTR rims

Strengths:    Handling, comfort, cornering.

Weaknesses:    None so far, but it's only been a couple of weeks.

Bottom Line:
These tires have blown me away, so far. (Granted I only have couple hundred miles on them, so I can't speak to durablility.) They are extremely comfortable, and really soak up the chipseal and packed dirt roads where I ride.
What has REALLY hit me is how much more confident I feel when descending and cornering a high speeds. The tires feel like they are just stuck to the road. I don't know if the tires are really that great, or if they just make me feel that way. Truly amazing.
Surpisingly, they were very easy to install, too.

Specialized Turbo Tubeless

Anyone else tried these out? I put them on my SL2 a couple of days ago, and am absolutely blown away by the comfort and smoothness of these tires. I also felt very comfortable with them on fast twisty descents. I am REALLY impressed! Any other opinions out there?Read More »
