at worldclasscycles.com Bike Setup: Schwinn Paramount (Waterford Built) with Surly flip/flop track hubs, Mavic Open Pro rims, White Bros Eno single freewheel and Surly fixed gear, Cane Creek Titanium Brakes, Easton Bar, 3TTT Titanium Stem, Dura Ace Crank with Salsa Chain Guard, Rohloff Chain, spinnin' on a 44t/18t Summary: Excellent tire for dirt trails and potholed cities, but don't last long on tarmac. Rear tire has 1500 miles at most and is thread bare. Clincher setup is simple. Sealant works like a charm...almost too good as I road many more miles before realizing the small dirt mark on my rear tire that wouldn't come off was the sealant plugging a hole. These are great for the person who wants a good wide road tire and not have to carry a spare if you put Stan's Sealant or Tufo's in. Strengths: Excellent ride quality. Sticks through tight hard corners on road. Easy to track on dirt with good responsiveness. Use Stan's Sealant, and leave your spare tire repair stuff at home (but bring a cell phone just in case). Great for a city fixed gear or single speed. Weaknesses: Poor product naming... get the D28's for tarmac use as they are higher PSI and longer tread life than the LPS ones. Expensive, but don't forget...no tubes or rim tape to buy. Oh...and no longer available...so ignore this review since you can't get them anymore.
