Coming soon.....Pinarello Montello Time Trial Bike.
Summary: Fastest tire bar none. Smooth rolling, just hums along. 1st tire that reminds me of the old clement silks. Use with a latex tube to get the fastest, most silky ride possible. Mounts with ease and a pleasure to work with. Noticeably faster than the Pro2's I was using, and I am very happy w/ those. Of course they will not last like armadillos but I have had no problems with these Records in terms of excess cuts or punctures. Just be mindfull of what debris is coming at you. Just common sense, just use that and you will be very happy about the durability, which suprised me. Strengths: Insanely fast tire. Rolls like silk combined with a latex tube. Very easy to mount and work with. Durability is fine for what this tire is about. This tire was 1st in several rolling resistance tests, so I wanted to try it, and i'm really happy I did. The only Crr tests I have seen that this tire is not #1 or #2 is tests that leave this tire off the list. Weaknesses: In my opinion........none. Similar Products Used: PRO Race2 and PRO Race2 light. Which I like very well, it's just that the Record is even faster.

Profile Century Aero Bars
Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL
Shimano Ultegra Summary: I was recommended these tyres by Parker International who warned me that they were ultra fast and virtually disposable after a few rides. Well, they are certainly both. I took 2mins 30 secs off my 25M TT PB on first use and 57 secs off my 10M TT PB on second use (2 months later). Previously I have ridden Michelin Pro Race and Continental Attack / Force Tyres whilst Time Trialling. Strengths: Once you get up to speed, they just keep going. There is almost no rolling resistance so they fly, in particular downhill. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to obliterate their TT PB's Weaknesses: They cost £ 25.95 each and I was warned that they only last about 400 miles. That's ceratinly true. I have only ridden them on three occasions and the last time I punctured on the front (after the race) and the try will need to be replaced as it's split open.
