at Probikekit.com Favorite Ride: 6am alone Bike Setup: I weight 145 lbs and ride 1800 miles a yr. Thats all you need to know. Summary: I was looking for a more comfortable riding tire that would be able to withstand the road trash in New England. The KX is a very nice tire. Rolls over cracks in the road, takes the jolt right out of them. Smooth rolling. I'am only using it as a front tire for now with a Rubino Pro Slick on the rear for a more long lasting skin. If it holds up as well as the Pro Slick I'll buy more for a full set. Probikekit.com $40 delivered in 4 working days, now thats the cats meow. Strengths: Smooth, velvet ride. Never have to worry about quality or reliability. Weaknesses: As it stands now, none. I won't give a tire bad marks for something I ran over. When it blow out a sidewall or take chunks of tread off the tire,"like some conti's" than that's a weakness. Similar Products Used: Vittoria Rubino Pro Slick - very durable, but harsher ride
Diamante Pro Light - New to road riding, came on bike, ran them with way to much PSI and destroyed them. A racing tire.

at online Favorite Ride: Piedmont Pig Ride Bike Setup: 2003 Cervelo Soloist; 2006 Cervelo Soloist Team; Mavix Ksyrium SL3s Summary: I've used both the 700x20s and x23s EVO-KX Vittoria tires for about five years now, and I've not experienced one single flat. These are comfortable tires, and after 2000 miles my last pair were still good with very few cracks here and there, at which time I changed them. Strengths: Kevlar spits out anything that tries to pinch the tire; excellent tires for wet weather. Weaknesses: None Similar Products Used: None - I used to use Kendas but stopped because of the many flats I got.

at Excel Sports Favorite Ride: Downhill Bike Setup: Lemond Buenos Aires,
Mavic Open Pro wheels w/ Dura Ace hubs Summary: This review is for the Vittoria Open Corvo KS which is the slick version of the popular CX. I bought these tires for a double century (STP) ride for higher performance and comfort and I'm still amazed how nice these tires feel, but like the other reviews these are race tires and are not very durable. I flatted twice on my ride and had another two flats when the bead peeled out of my Mavic Open Pros.
At 145psi, the tires felt like pure silk, they had very low rolling resistance and were very comfortable. The difference from my Conti-Gator skins was amazing. Strengths: Absolutely amazing ride quality and low rolling resistance. Easy installation and repair. Weaknesses: These are race tires and cut easily. After 300 miles on the road, my pair is ready for the trash. Tires did not fit the Mavic Open Pro rims so check the ISO when you purchase them. Similar Products Used: Vrdestan Fortezza
