at E-Bay Favorite Ride: Any Bike Setup: 2004 Giant TCR2 Composite, full ultegra, Neuvation Aero wheels. Summary: I bought these tires used with approximatley 50 miles. I have ridden about 200 miles on them so far without any issues. These tires roll pretty fast and they can take up to 145 psi. I usually pump them up to 140 psi. Not as smooth rolling as my previous tires - Hutchison Carbon Comp. but seems to wear better. Strengths: Fast rolling, appears to be long lasting, reasonable cost, and comes in multiple colors. Weaknesses: None so far. Similar Products Used: All major brands

at Online Dealer Summary: I was looking at purchasing Michelin Krylion Carbon tires for durability, speed, and a degree of puncture resistance. However, on the recommendation of a more experienced cyclist, I tried these Vittoria Rubino Pro tires instead.
Due to the relatively poor results using the Rubino Pro tires, I might give the Krylion Crabon tires a try and see how things go.
It is unlikely I'll be using Rubino Pro tires again. Strengths: Quick rolling. Fairly comfortable ride. Weaknesses: Not durable and puncture resistant enough.
After only riding ~ 20 miles or so, there was noticeable wear on the tires (rear tire particularly)! Received two punctures (at different times, and at different locations on the rear tire) during a ride. Similar Products Used: Continental GP4000

at www.peloton.si Favorite Ride: Roads with minimal traffic Bike Setup: Standard road bike, nothing special Summary: I would recommend this tyre to recreational rider, particulary to those, who ride mostly in dry conditions. This tyre is extra durable. I have put on it something like 2500km of harsh roads by now and i cant see any wear of this tyre. Also without puncture for now. And you can have in mind that i ride this tyres also on the macadam for a few kilometers. But i gave them 4 point because of the poor performance in the rain.
Strengths: The really big advantage of this tyre is its durability. This tyre is durable and though as hell.I havent got any punctures by now. Weaknesses: Bad performance in the wet(i recommend you to drive slowly with this tyre on the wet road). But since mayority of us is recreational riders, i guess also we dont ride bike so much in the rainy conditions... Similar Products Used: Michelin Dynamic

at ebay Favorite Ride: Anything low wind while in the aero tuck Bike Setup: Felt F90, Shimano WH560, Oval Concepts drop and Aero bars, Shimano 105 crank, Serfas Aria saddle Summary: Tires came with a set of Shimano wheels I purchased. I liked them so much I ran them till they corded. Allegedly these are not puncture proof tires, but the first puncture I had with them was about 15 seconds before I realized that I could see the tire casing on the tread. In other words, no fault of the tire. I didn't keep a good datalog of the tires, but I put at least 2000 miles on them before the rear gave out. The front still has lots of tread and I carry it as a spare tire since it folds nicely under my seat. The tire offers good rolling resistance. The only tire I've used that is in the same catagory is the Continental GP 4000 w/ black chili compound. However, I do consider the GP 4000 to be a better value considering the deal that I got those for about the same price and they have even less rolling resistance. Strengths: Good rolling resistance. I never got a flat until the tires were completely dead. Weaknesses: None that my simple riding skills could find. Better than average in all catagories. Similar Products Used: Continental GP 4000 chili, Hutchinson Top Speed, Performance Forte GT2 Kevlar.

at LBS Favorite Ride: The next one Bike Setup: Specialized Tarmac (carbon), Ultegra/DA mix Summary: I ride ~5k mi/yr inc. spirited (20+mph)group rides & century+ events. Best all-around clincher in my book. Good rolling resistance, handling, braking, and durability. Bicycling mag recently raved about the Conti GP4000 getting 4400mi, but I've been getting that (and more) from my RP's for 50% less $$. And the RP's handle better to boot. Strengths: Best all-around performance & value in a serious road tire. Weaknesses: slightly heavy (10-15g vs competitive tires- which is meaningless really) Similar Products Used: Continental, Hutchinson, Kenda, Michelin
