Product Description

This new design, specifically made for cyclocross, is ideal for all trails where traction and control are vital, on dirt or mud. The cleverly spaced knobs make for a self-cleaning tyre, with low rolling resistance. Unlike the tubular version, the tyre has Nylon 120 TPI casing and a foldable bead for top performance and light weight. PRB puncture resistant belting.

Strengths:    sticky, fast

Weaknesses:    struggle to get on rims

Bottom Line:
I use these for a long daily commute that involves asphalt, muddy or dusty alleys, and grit or dirt cyclepaths cutting hills through parks. They hold well, roll faster, and seem to be holding up better than the Continental Speed King Cross that came with my bike. They go on tight!

Strengths:    Light.

Weaknesses:    Flats, rubber compound, life span of tyre

Bottom Line:
Too soft rubber compound to make any sense for a weekend warrier. They wont last for more than perhaps 800 Ks if you ride both fire roads and asphalt. Also, they are very vulnarable to cuts and flats. Not a training tyre. Not sure, I'd dare use it for racint, either.
