Strengths: durable thread, good properties on wet and when cornering; not had them long so cannot speak re life span / mileageWeaknesses: price; seem stiff when fittingBottom Line: never heard of clinchers? Vittoria RUBINO PRO are definitely my favourite so far, good choice of colours and wide range of recommended pressure / PSI

Strengths: Grip, Cut resistance, stylingWeaknesses: Not the best choice for speedBottom Line: Good all around road tire. Offers some slip resistance of wet roads. Seem to have a good resistance to cuts.

Strengths: Puncture resistance
Wet weather
DurabilityWeaknesses: Plenty of faster tiresBottom Line: This would be the tire I'd choose for a rainy day bike or a light touring setup. It can handle a wet road just fine, I haven't many flats with them, they have a good tread-life, and they roll smooth. If you're looking to keep up on a fast group ride or race, this isn't the tire for you.

Strengths: indestructible, the roads round here are appalling, had one nip puncture in the last two years. rode the first rear til the threads were showing and am just replacing the second rear through old age - and it's had a 5 inch glass cut all he way through the rubber for the last 6 months or so. great commuting tyres !!Weaknesses: none.Bottom Line: cracking tyres for training / commuting

Strengths: Reliable
Puncture resistance (way better than expected)
Roll fast
Look good
Great Ride
come in colors!Weaknesses: slightly expensive, but worth it
colored tread gets dingy quicky (I recommend black), but still looks fine
Probably heavier than a lot of race tires, but definitely in raceable clincher territoryBottom Line: I have these in red, on my fixed gear, came brand new when I bought the bike used. Now before you judge, remember that these tires have to hold up to some pretty ridiculous abuse. I have abused these tires far more than some other tires and these have held up better than I could have ever imagined.
First off: Ride quality. These tires, in their 120 TPI version, are like butter on pavement. Smooth and delicious. Feels amazing on a steel bike, probably even better on carbon. I run them at 90-100 PSI and they still roll very fast and smooth. I found that handling and ride quality suffer above 120 PSI, although they are rated to 140 PSI on the sidewall. No matter, you shouldn't be running them at max pressure anyway.
In a full year of riding varied roads very hard (including intermittent, but not constant skidding), these tires have flatted twice. Once was a giant shard of glass (that probably very few tires could withstand), the other was a busted tube patch. So really, they have only flatted once. They are very easy to seat and remove from my velocity aerohead rims.
I have yet to wear through any skid patches, but I am not a habitual skidder. I use a front brake like I should.
I highly recommend these and other vittoria tires. But I must stress the 120TPI version is much better, and is worth the extra expense. I will be running them on all my road bikes from now on.
Favorite Ride: Anything with climbs and perfect pavement
