Strengths:    High Pressure (I use 120 PSI), ;low rolling resistance, comfort

Weaknesses:    puncture-prone.

Bottom Line:
These tires are the best tires I've ridden on. I have them on 2 wheelsets: Mavic Cosmic Carbones, and Lew Atlanta all carbon. They are FAST (very low rolling resistance) and ultra-comfortable with latex tubes. Unfortunately, they are quite prone to flatting, and quite difficult to pry off the rim. The bead is really tight, so that adds to the annoyance of changing tubes. I don't know if it's the casing or the rubber that's weak, but I have dollar bills inside all 4 of my tires, and they seem to reinforce the cuts or punctures that cause the flats.

Strengths:    they did feel like tubies when they weren't exploding

Weaknesses:    they didn't stay inflated and you couldn't ride them

Bottom Line:
Do not buy these tires for any reason. I got one half of a practice race on them, and flatted. I manged to limp home, upon which time I realized I had a tiny rock which had somehow gotten caught in the rubber. Removed the rock new tube and the next time I rode it, the tube pushed through and the tire was finished. Totaled about 40 miles on them for about a dollar a mile of usage.

Strengths:    They do roll REALLY smooth and have a great feel-for a little while.

Weaknesses:    Everything. As far as I'm concerned, Vittoria owes me two rides.

Bottom Line:
These suck so bad. I've ridden forty miles and have already shredded two tires. I'm not heavy, I'm riding on smooth pavement and I have them inflated to the proper spec. I can't believe these haven't been recalled. I know they're thin and light and because of this, I'm giving up some points in the durability/strength departments, but Jesus. I came really close to eating it today. I was doing about thirty down a small hill when the rear went. These tires are the cycling version of the Corvair... Unsafe at any speed. Don't buy them. Don't let your friends buy them. I'm thinking of giving dubya a set for Christmas though.

Strengths:    Incredibly smooth ride!

Weaknesses:    Incredibly short life.

Bottom Line:
Absolutely beautiful while they last. Closest to sew-ups I've ever experienced in a clincher. But when they go, they go spectacularly and in pairs. I had my wife pick me up since I had no way to repair the sidewall blowout in the rear. Great feel though...

Strengths:    weight, rolling resistance, "feel" when riding/cornering/descending

Weaknesses:    you will puncture on road debris that a 'normal' tire would roll right through

Bottom Line:
I have to agree with other reviews, these tires are light! and work as a great addition to a set of lightweight climbing wheels. They inflate to "rock hard" level and feel great rolling and cornering on smooth pavement. I haven't used them much, but have had 1 flat in the front tire. The tire caught a very tiny rock and I was surprised that it went through the tire casing and puntured the tube. Fortunately, the tired made it through the hill climb and I flatted after the race. I would definitely not use these for a long road race with varying qualities of surfaces. I will confine the use of these tires to uphill time trials and hill climb races. They are "delicate" and should only be used on smooth pavement and when weight really matters. They roll great, corner great, feel great, but have limited protection to punctures. When used for the right purposed, they do great, just don't ask them to do more than they are designed to do.
