Strengths:    Supple, comfortable, light (for their size) fast, grippy (on road), long lasting and good handling.

Weaknesses:    Not the best on loose gravel or soft mud, but then they are not meant to be.

Bottom Line:
These high performance touring tyres are my absolute favourites now: I have used 35mmm Voyager Hypers on my loaded tourer for two years and revelled in the low rolling resistance and super smooth ride. I have had one puncture in about 5000 miles, which is average for me, the rear tyres is now starting to look worn but still a bit of life in it, front has loads of life left.

I have now built a road bike with disc brakes and 32mm Voyager Hypers and these seem equally awesome for the quicker bike, floating over chip & seal surfaces and giving great confidence on the descents.

Both tyres measure a little over the nominal size on appropriate rims, i.e. on 19mm internal width rims the 35s are about 36.5mm wide and on 17mm rims the 32s are 33mm wide.

I use pressures according to Bicycle Quarterly chart, 36psi front and 56psi rear for the tourer (unloaded, increased accordingly when loaded) and 44psi front, 64psi rear on the road bike- there really is no advantage to pumping these tyres up any harder.

I paid £20 each for the 35mm and £22 for the 32mm, but have bought 3 spare 35mm for £10 each recently from Planet X
