Favorite Ride:
RALEIGH TEAM!

Bike Setup:
RALEIGH TEAM,shimano 105 groupsets,XR-carbon wheels

Summary:
I had used this pair of tires and were abusing it(hitting potholes all the time). The grip was well but not the best.In rainy situasions when racing I need not worry about it at all. After a pair of them used for about 3000miles the thread life were marvelous and the flat were around 4 times in a year use!!!Finally yesterday my front tire's side wall broke out.I would rate 5 star for this and willing to buy again.

Strengths:
Cheap, unlimited thread life, high tolerance for abusing, minimum flat,9 bar pressure can be pumped up!THUMBS UP!

Weaknesses:
WTB is not that famous for road racing but it worth my respect after compared to other tires which cost x2 =)

Similar Products Used:
Continental Ultra Race(newly bought and sidewall cracked a lil after pumped to high pressure)

Price Paid:  $35.00 at ebay

Favorite Ride:
Lemon Dam

Bike Setup:
Trek 2300 with some Easton Aluminum stuff. Helium wheels. Ultegra. 14k miles, 8 sets of rubber and the dang thing will not die!

Summary:
WTB on a road bike is a faux pas in some circles, but it shouldn't be. These roll decently and are tough tires. I have ridden on them for a year now with 0 flats. They are not as supple of a ride as some other tires that I have tried, but are also quite a bit less expensive. If you want a great ride, get a Vredestien Fortezza. If you want a fast tire the Race Lites are great. If you want a do everything tire that will hold up to mileage, not leave you stranded and leave enough money in your wallet for a power bar or two, the WTB might do the trick.
Value gets a 5 because they are worth every penny.
Overall gets a 4 because they could be a touch more supple.

Strengths:
Tough casing. Long wear life. Roll decently enough to hold the wheel of your local pros if you can muster the HP. Can run up to 130psi.

Weaknesses:
Not the smoothest ride of the bunch. The name might deter some people.

Similar Products Used:
Hutchinson Top Speeds - Wear out way to quickly.
Vredestein Fortezza tri-comp - smoothest ride I ever had.
Bontrager Race Lite Silica - Fast sticky wears quick (race only).
Michelin Carbons - unimpressive until you realize that you have 2500 miles on them and they are still going strong.
Vittoria Rubino Pro - Did nothing especially well or badly. Might be a good thing?
