at Spokes bicylces - Vi Bike Setup: 2004 Fuji Professional aluminum and carbon. dura ace shifters, ultegra brakes Summary: I've had these wheels for almost a year now. Probably about 1,500 miles. They are terrific. I'm about 225 lbs and they have stayed true. Strengths: Strong stiff wheels Weaknesses: The skewers that come with the wheels ought to be lighter. Similar Products Used: Ritchey pro OS wheels that came on my bike. The rear rims cracked at a spoke connection after about 5,000 miles.

at Performance Bike Setup: 63cm Klein Stage Summary: 11,000 miles and 2 years later these wheels are as true today as they were out of the box. At 6'7" and 205 lbs I can put a lot of lateral force on a wheel and I have yet to have any brake rub. Although not particulary light, they are a very good climbing wheel due to the stiffness. Fast in the flats. I can't say that these wheels spin up real fast but once up to speed they ant to run. Strengths: Stiff, good value, low friction bearings Weaknesses: Paired up with an aluminum frame, harsh ride Similar Products Used: Rolf Vector Comp

at LBS Favorite Ride: Hope Ranch Summary: I swapped out the Mavic Open Pro rims/Specialized wheels that came with my Specialized Roubaix Comp Triple. They are much lighter than the Open Pros and have been bullet proof so far. But most importantly, they look very, very cool.

at Spokes Etc. Vienna, Favorite Ride: Any where Bike Setup: Giant TCR2 w/ Ksyrium Elites, FSA WingPro Bars, and forte saddle. Full 105 setup. Summary: These wheels are great! I'm a big heavy rider and basically destroyed a set of Xerolite wheels in about 1600 miles. The Mavic's are strong, potholes and bad roads of Virginia are no match for the Ksyrium Elites. I would reccomend these wheels to anyone. Put the SRAM Rival cassette and it works great with my 105 setup. Strengths: Strong, strong, strong. No issues even as a big rider 220+ lbs. Weaknesses: none Similar Products Used: Xero XSR-3 (craptastic!)

at ebay Favorite Ride: Surrey 3 Hills, Pyrenees Bike Setup: Trek Madone with full Ultegra Summary: An excellent set of wheels. I have done nearly 200 miles and have only trued them very, very slightly and only once. No cracking or creaking or any other problems. Very smooth. Strengths: -Reliable
-Stay true
-Stiff
-Smooth rolling
-Look good
-Lighter and smoother than Aksiums and similar Weaknesses: -Not much lighter than the Bontragers that came with the Madone and fairly pricey, although I got an unbelievable deal on ebay.
-Need special spoke tool (metal one for $4 at Probikekit in the UK works a treat) Similar Products Used: Mavic Aksiums, Reynolds Alta Race, Campagnolo Scirocco
