Description M28 Aero front wheel has 16 radial spokes and the rear has 20 spokes. Spokes are black anodized, aero bladed stainless steel with brass nipples. Rims are 27mm deep V section aero rims with cnc'd sidew...
Summary: I bought these wheels after reading the reviews on this site. These wheels have been great. I could only afford one set of wheels, and the M28 aeros seemed like the perfect all around choice at this price level. These wheels are solid, quiet, and fast.
I'm really amazed because recently I crashed, and broke the front wheel. The wheel was fine really until one of the crash victims in this race stood up and stepped on the wheel in his haste to get out of the way. I sent John Neugent an order that Sun. night for a replacement wheel, and by 9AM Tuesday my new wheel had arrived. You just cant beat that.
Strengths: They stay true and look great.
Weaknesses: None yet.

Summary: Outstanding wheelset!!! It seems like these wheels want to roll faster than I can pedal. The price was cheap, and these wheels are WELL WORTH IT!!!
Strengths: They roll forever, smooth, stiff. Perfect
Weaknesses: NONE

Summary: I have the M28 Aero 2. These are fantastic wheels! I have been riding them for about two years and they are very solid and spin forever. When buying these, I was more interested in a solid wheel that I wouldn't have to worry about, than I was the lightest thing out there. But having said that, they seem pretty light too.
I was doing a century recently and there were three guys in front of me on a fast descent. These guys looked like serious racers and had nice kit and gear. The thing is, they were pacelining and mashing huge gears on this descent, all the while I was just sitting there, doing nothing, even touching my brakes a bit, and keeping up with them. It was actually kind of weird. And I only weigh 165.
Strengths: Stiff. Solid. Bombproof. They coast forever. Pretty light for such as solid wheel. Stealthy quiet. John is a really good guy too.
Weaknesses: None

Bike Setup: KHS Flite 750 Carbon and aluminum with ultegra group. FSA compact crankset
Summary: I purchased these wheels at my LBS and rode them for six months. Began hearing a cracking sound coming from the rear wheel and took them back to LBS who found two hairline cracks in the rim. I'm hoping Neuvation will replace the wheel. I will wait and see. Prior to cracking they were a nice riding wheel and stayed trued.
Strengths: Lightweight. Smooth ride
Weaknesses: In my case the rim cracked at two spokes. I hope Neuvation will replace the wheel.

Summary: These wheels ROCK! Holy cow they are awesome. And for the money, you just can't beat them! The $35 ceramic bearing upgrade is also an excellent choice. They spin-up quick and roll excellent. I have taken them up some pretty nasty climbs and while you may feel the weight on them a bit, the easy roll and lack of flex makes it a smooth ride. Plus, the wheels came with the skewers and spare spokes and parts. I do not know of any other company that produces this kind of value. I have the Aero3 with bladed spokes. The rear hub is nice and quiet. The best training wheel out there: period, end of story!
