Strengths: Reasonable Price. Lightweight. SolidWeaknesses: Unknown brand. Did not include rim stripsBottom Line: I did a lot of Internet research before purchasing these wheels. As far as I can figure they are a Taiwan built wheel. Most likely from Kinlin XR-300 rims, Pillar PSR Aero 1432 spokes, Formula RB68 front hub and Formula RB210 rear hub.
I purchased the wheelset by emailing Jim@beyondfab.com directly. He was very responsive to my questions and also gave me a discount on shipping. The wheels arrived well packaged and unharmed. First thing I did was put them on my truing stand and they past that test.
I ride in Michigan which has some of the worst roads in the nation. I've put about 500 miles on these wheels now and they are solid and reliable. Both the aero profile and the light weight help to make acceleration much snappier.
I had my doubts about $199 for lightweight clinchers but so far the gamble has been worth it. Most other Taiwan built wheelsets cost twice the price for similar builds.

Strengths: Super lightweight at 1413 grams
Weaknesses: Maximum Recommended rider weight is 180 poundsBottom Line: The Beyond Fab Blackbird clincher wheelset comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
At the $199 price, there aren't many other competetive light weight options, but if you buy this wheelset locally ,there is no shipping charge and no sales tax.
If you are looking for a even lighter wheelset, the Blackbird SL wheelset that is built with Sapim CX-Ray spokes and hidden nipples. I weighed a pair of wheels and the front with 18 spokes weighed 606 grams and the rear with 24 spokes weighed 807 grams. Total 1413 grams!
This wheelset is an excellent value for the rider looking for a lightweight solid set for everyday training and racing.
