The Pure Tour rim is 30mm tall and a full 21mm wide, creating a triangular rim platform that is exceedingly strong. Each rim weighs approx. 570g, which is actually less than several closely related DeepV 30mm tall x 19mm wide road rims. Thus, the Pure Tour rim just may prove itself as the new Go-To rim in the upward durability wheel segment. Each rim includes a pronounced wear indicator grove in the sidewall, which is a nice visual indicator to help determine whether you have 2K miles or 22K miles left on your wheels. The front and rear cassette wheels are built using a three cross lace pattern, which offers a great blend between each wheel's ability to accelerate yet still absorb road shock.
