$2900.00 Bike Setup: True North custom foco, Reynolds Aero carbon fork, Record gruppo, 3ttt zeppXL bar and stem and exten Summary: The first thing that amazed me when I got the wheel was the fact that it's hollow. Between the two layers, there's nothing in the middle -- no honeycomb, fibreglass -- nothing. You think, how the hell does it maintain tension? It's the aerospace material used to build it and how they lay it up. If Ulrich can use it, rider weight obviously isn't an issue. At 995 grams, it competes with the Zipp disk. Plus, if you're like me and don't want what most other people have (ie. Zipps are common at tri's in Ontario), the Ghibli is perfect. Nice and true so far. The cassette that comes with it is a special Record ti 9 speed cassette with 10 gear spacing. Strengths: Light; sexy; engineering marvel; rare. Weaknesses: Seam on rim not as clean as a Mavic; for the money your spend, they could've thrown in an elbow to help you inflate the tire; for the money, you could house and feed a family for 4 for months. Similar Products Used: Tried a Zipp 909 setup once.
