Strengths:    Deep-V's best for cyclocross, very supple on bad terrain. Lightweight&strong. Seem to roll forever.

Weaknesses:    None so far.

Bottom Line:
Excellent wheels. I found out how strong the front wheel was on accident when I T-boned what appeared to be a Pit-Bull at 20mph. The dog ran right into my front tire from the side. I hit him square in the shoulders and immediatly hit the ground. Cracked my helmet. The wheel is still true, considering it was out of alignment with my stem.

If you like riding MTB trails with a CX bike, even if you do not race, these wheels will serve you well. These are the best CX wheels in my opinion.

Wheels purchased through Litespeed as an upgrade.

Hi guys, I am new to this site and this is actually my first ever post! :D I have been riding hard tail mountain bikes for around 5 years but now feel a need to change things up a little (or a lot!) and fix myself up with a faster ride. Cyclocross seems to be the way to go for me as although I now d ... Read More »

Starting cyclocross focused (non)team - The Algea Velo

The tour is just around the corner and this, to me, signals the start of cyclocross training. I'm already longing for mud, grass, rain and lots of pain. Last season I arranged several skinsuit group buys for budding CX racers and ended up posting race reports and pictures from folks from all over ... Read More »

child size cyclocross frame

I'm looking to buy just the frame & fork ... looking for a small-size aluminum framed bike for racing road and cyclocross for a 5'0" 10 year old boy. Any thoughts? I have enough spare components to build him out a nice ride, but I don't want to drop $600-700 on a Redline Conquest or Kona Jake, etc ... Read More »
