Bike Setup: Raliegh R700, FSA Carbon crank, Ultegra drivetrain and brakes.
Summary: I bought these to lighted up the wheels a bit, and discovered just how much fun a quality set of rims can be. Particularly on hills (up and down) these fly! And they feel extremely solid in turns and at high speeds. Changing flats is easier than my previous rims. They've stayed true since day one, which is now a long time ago. I'd did have to work a couple of very small metal shavings out of inside of one rim, which made me initially concerned about the quality. Great set of wheels for all around top end performance.
Strengths: Wieght, all around performance characteristics, solid feel
Weaknesses: Quality control, but maybe that is why these were on Ebay.

Bike Setup: Cannondale six13 full dura ace with mavic open pros and chris king hubs
Summary: Road them for two months worth of training before the rear drive side spoke pulled through the rim during an excelleration causing the hud to also grind to pieces. Sent them back to easton, who held on to them for six months before calling my bike shop to tell them I needed to pay for the repair. Luckily the bike shop went to bat for me and got me a replacement that my wife now rides.
Strengths: none
Weaknesses: They are trash and easton doesn't care
Similar Products Used: none,I wont ride easton products

Bike Setup: Scott CR-1, FSA parts, Dura Ace shifting
Summary: This is a very nice wheelset. The hubs and wheels roll very smooth. I've replace the bearings once as they do become worn. These are the old Velomax wheels that Easton bought and continues to make under their name. I really like the braking surface as it is machined nicely unlike the Accent II's that require a little more force. Anyhoo, I'll ge to the point. After about 2.5 years of hard riding, the spokes cracked the rim on the rear drive side where they are screwed in. I see that others have had the same problem. I took it to my local shop and they are dealing with sending it back to Easton. The warranty lasts one year so I will have to pay a few bucks for this repair. Other than this problem, which is major, I've ridden these wheels hard and loved them despite these problems.
Strengths: Very stiff yet comfortable ride, nice braking surface, smooth hubs. I've only had them trued once, (just rear wheel). Bearings replaced in front wheel.
Weaknesses: Hubs bearing need to be watched for wear. Rims become brittle and crack on rear drive side.

Summary: These wheels were a definite upgrade from my SL's, but the rim cracked this week. Also descending mountains is scary on these wheels - they wooble.
I am going to use as my backup wheels
Strengths: Lightweek, good road feel, aero
Weaknesses: Rims weak, wooble at high speed.
