Easton EC70 SL Road Wheels - Shimano: The EC70 SL combines the weight and stiffness benefits of carbon with the durability and convenience of an aluminum clincher to create one of the most versatile wheel sets in our line.
Strengths: Lightweight, fast, nearly silent, ceramic bearings and looks
Weaknesses: Braking (of course) but very good for carbon wheels
This wheelset is a great value and can be had many places for under $1,000.00 because the new version is set to be released. The 2014 version's MSRP I believe is $2,800.00. You will not be sorry for getting these wheels the ceramic bearings allow these wheels to roll as smooth as silk. Firt time I road these wheels I could not even hear they when coasting...So very quiet!
Looking for feedback from current owners of these wheels. I like the profile (38mm) and would be running them for everyday training with Campy SR11. Thoughts and feedback appreciated. Thank you.Read More »
I am about to purchase a new set of wheels and these 2 are the ones i have been looking at. I am having a hard time deciding. Reviews would be nice, and if there are other wheels comparable that are worth taking a look at, please let me know.

Showed up today. Took them around the block just now. Will get a few hours on them tomorrow. I'll be very interested to see how they do. If my spin around the block is any indication, i expect to orgasm a few times on the ride tomorrow morning. :D :D
