Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: This is the worst wheelset ever.
My team got 8 pairs of RD220 and all of them are problematic.
They are heavy, soft, the water leaks in the rim if used in rain. After 1000Km, the front wheel bearings were totaly damaged.
Spokes on the non-sprocket side on the real wheel are breaking almost every day.
The RD220s are cheap, but its a total waste of money. Go for something better.
They look fine and thats their only positive thing.

Price Paid:
$310.00
at Bike Tires Direct Favorite Ride: Pinarello Bike Setup: Pinarello Gallieo Campagnolo Groupo Summary: These are great wheel for the money. I paid 310 including shipping and they are well worth that price. The hubs are just as smooth as the Record Huds used on my ZONDA G3 wheelset. The rims are very nice accept tires well and have a very smooth braking surface. FSA also gives you a spoke wrench and a terrific pair of skewers.
The wheels are not as stiff as my Zondas and you can feel the difference in the climb. The stickers started to peel off right out of the box that is a minor annouance. I also prefer exposed spoke nipples because they make for easier truing. You can clearly see that some of the spokes are at a severe angle as they come out of the rim.
Overall, they are fast pair of wheels at a great price and you will not find a lighter more durable wheelset for the money, especially for Campy equiped bikes.
Strengths: Price, Smooth Hubs Weaknesses: Rims not stiff, Cheap Stickers, Hidden Nipples Similar Products Used: Campagnolo Zonda, Mavic CP22

Price Paid:
$0.00 Bike Setup: Alan Carbon Excell, Dura Ace 10sp Summary: Had the RD200 but the spokes just kept breaking...once one of the spokes was broken all of them had to be changed! With the new RD220 this problem seems to be solved. The "old" flat and aerodynamic spokes from the RD200 has been changed with traditional (almost) spokes. It doesent look as cool but they're still very stiff!!! Graet value for money!!!
Strengths: Great value, stiff, cool looking, great finish. Weaknesses: none so far... Similar Products Used: FSA RD200, Mavic Cosmos, Mavic Ksyrium SL, Mavic Open Pro w/ Connect Ceramic Hubs
