Strengths:    I weigh 94 kg and after 5000 km the wheels still are true. No problems what so ever. The wheels look good on my summerbike and are stiff and strong enough for my weight. They corner very well and only in extreme situations they touch my brakes.

Weaknesses:    None thus far.

Bottom Line:
The wheels look good and perform well.

Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLs vs HED Alps vs Ritchey WCS Clinchers

I'm after a set of clinchers for road races and mountainous sportifs this year. I'm down to these three. As I understand it; 1. Mavic Carbones - stiff, good bearings/hubs, good aero, bit heavy 2. HED Alps - softer, hubs more questionable, good aero, lighter 3. Ritchey WCS clinchers - more of an ... Read More »

2005 Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLs

I've read lots of reviews regarding the quality control issues surrounding the Kysrium SSC SLs and am wondering if I should wait for a while for the kinks to get worked out on the new 2005 Cosmics pri ...
