Strengths: Light, really strong, bling.
Weaknesses: Pricey. Not aero.Bottom Line: I've had a lot of wheels at this point. Aksiums, elite's, ritchey, custom, etc. These wheels are really amazing. They ride a bit harsh, but they spin forever. They REALLY do make you faster. I went through a number of pot holes, but they keep going without a problem.

Strengths: you can hammer these wheels over potholes down kerbs they're virtuially indestuctible, the spokes do corrode though, but thats due to the sulphur in the air around where i live, (near hot-springs/sulphur vents)Weaknesses: as aboveBottom Line: Used an old pair of SL's (2005) til 2010, superb. Got these wheels at a huge discount, and they are the bomb, Ksyriums are the business full-stop.

Strengths: Fast, light, strongWeaknesses: none I can think ofBottom Line: I bought these wheels for my Cervelo RS which came stock with Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels. The Fulcrums were heavy the Mavics are a nice light strong wheelset. I paired the Mavics with a set of Kenda Kaliente tires all I can say is great ride. They seem to roll faster than the stock wheels my Cervelo came with. I did the Marin Century on them this year and the were really comfortable, rolled fast and cornered like the bike was on rails. I am 6ft and weight 235lbs. These wheels stay true I really like them. Added plus they look cool with one red spoke and red hubs.

Strengths: light and somewhat aero with the butted spokesWeaknesses: spokes bend/break too easily and the bearings wear out far too quickly-only 500miles!Bottom Line: A decent set of wheels that I am afraid won't last forever. The bearings wearing out too quickly is a well known issue along with the dodgey spokes-I am a light-ish rider (11stone)and I have done 500 miles with them-only used for sportives.
