Strengths: Price! Carbon wheels don't often come this cheap. They are quite fast too!Weaknesses: I don't like spoke nipples inside the rims, they're impossible to true without removing the tubular tyres, also makes replacing broken spokes very difficult. I weigh 65kg and broke one 2 years in, though I do ride them hard.
The bearings in the rear wheel wore out after 30 months of use. Planet x couldn't get me any. The local industrial bearing supplier couldn't get me them. I tried bearings manufacturers in China, Taiwan, Germany, USA, Indonesia - they didn't make them in the right size. Try www.billys.co.uk for bearings, they sorted me out. Out of true regularly now.Bottom Line: Bought 2 1/2 years ago, so I've had a bit of time to test them out and find out exactly what's what. Initially very impressed, very fast, light and responsive, though found the rear hub (planet x superlight) unusually loud when free wheeling - planet x assured me this is normal. They make a great noise on smooth roads and climb well, even when rocking, though there is a little bit of flex in the rims.
I've got my moneys worth out of them, but you get what you pay for in the end.
