Strengths:    Cool factor, not something everyone else has in the crowd. Light, uber stiff, fast and aero. Sweet hubs and DT spokes. Did I mention cool?

Weaknesses:    Finicky braking surface, a little bit of extra road noise transfer through the hoops. This wheelset is definitely a race set and not a cushy cruiser set

    Bottom Line:
I use these wheels for our tempo rides and the mid-week crits (well not yet, but as soon as I get a day off!), and I can tell they are super stiff and blazing fast. The hubs are second to none, and I love the snap they produce when I jump on the gears hard and accelerate. The stock Reynolds pads that come with the wheelset suck, however. They sound like a 70's movie car chase scene when you modulate the brakes, but they do smoke everyone out behind you, so maybe that's a psychological advantage in a crit?! I have read a little bit on the web and I will give the SwissStop pads a shot to see if that improves, but they are definitely hairy to go bombing into corners with while having no faith in braking with Reynolds carbon pads. That doesn't tell the true story about the wheelset though... the wheels at speed are silky smooth and I love them. I love the hubs and the stiffness of the hoops get all the power to the road for me. So far, super impressed with the quality and the speed these wheels have given me for my investment.
