Strengths: Relatively light (lighter and deeper than zipp 404 clincher)
Very stiff,
Incredibly Aero,
Good build quality
Great looking.Weaknesses: Not as light as some of the top tubulars.Bottom Line: These are my first carbon wheels, decided I wanted a set of aero wheels for racing. I looked at various versions of the zipp 404 rims on different hubs, but all the 2nd hand sets I saw were cracked, and they still cost more than what I got the Reynolds for new! I am very impressed with these wheels so far, very stiff and light (I'm pretty sure these are lighter than their claimed weight although havent weighed them yet) The main thing I noticed though was the Aerodynamics, these wheels feel the same as my Easton EA90TT wheels up to about 30km/h (20mph) but once you go past that speed these really go noticeably quicker, and the quicker you go the bigger difference they make. I was worried that being full carbon clinchers they would be a bit diffucult to live with compared to the old carbon/alloy wheels but these are great for changing tyres and the braking is the same as on my alloy wheels in the dry, although the stock Reynolds brake pads squeal a bit. These wheels can make a bit of noise like most full carbon wheels, particularly with higher tyre pressures, I like the noise though, but it probably annoys some people.
