at Bikesdirect Favorite Ride: Motobecane IF Bike Setup: CF Frame,Ultegra6600 drive,FSA Team Pro compact Crankset, E3 Gelform seat (love it!)FSA Pro seatpost. Summary: I'm going out on a limb here because I have the DC Pro V wheelset and am unsure if the product listed and my wheels are the same.
I'm not a fan of the bladed spokes. They tend to catch a crosswind (especially downhill)
There seems to be far too much rim flex (one can flex the rim from brake pad to brake pad with modest thumb pressure) LBS says "nothing they can do" Strengths: Lightweight and fast. Have stayed true for the 300 miles of road riding (not all of which is nice and rut free) Weaknesses: seem to flex far too much, especially under speed/downhill conditions. The 'wobble' sets in and it's scary.
I questioned these wheels for guys over 200lbs before buying the bike. Similar Products Used: None so far (next bike in line is a 1991 Paramount with 36spoke 3x bullet proof wheels.
Looking at EastonEA90SLs or a custom build from Chris King.
